Félix MORY Does Danish Thing, Wins Golf Championship Wire-to-Wire

Well, who’d have thought? Félix MORY decided to lead the Danish Golf Championship from start to finish. Honestly, I'm shocked. Nobody could catch him. He shot a 65 on day one and just kept on building that lead. It's a classic case of "play well, score well," a concept that still baffles me and, I suspect, most weekend warriors who’ve ever mistaken a sand trap for a spa.

He finished at seven under par. Brandon Stone and Lucas Bjerregaard were lurking, tied for second at six under. I bet they had some moments, maybe a miraculous chip-in or a putt that looked like it might actually go in. But in the end, MORY just held 'em off. It’s the kind of victory that makes you seriously consider taking up competitive napping instead of golf.

This win, his first on the DP World Tour, means… well, it means he won. He gets a shiny trophy, endless bragging rights, and probably a slightly less leaky hotel room next time. For the rest of us mere mortals, it's just another painful reminder that some folks can actually, you know, hit the ball where they aim it. Astonishing.
